A Journey to Reconnect with My True Self

In my twenties, I didn’t yet know what I truly wanted in life. I had a strong desire to help others through counseling, which led me to pursue graduate studies in California, following an inner calling. I earned a master’s degree in Art Therapy.

But after graduating, I didn’t go into psychotherapy or counseling. Instead, I took an entirely different path—one in the tech industry. For many years, I worked in web-related roles at companies in Silicon Valley. I became a full-time employee, got married, had a child, and bought a home with my husband, an engineer. Between work, school activities, and mortgage payments, the years flew by—10, then 20. I hardly had time to pause and ask myself what I was truly living for.

Eventually, I found myself wondering: Why am I working so hard? What is all this for?
The stress and pressure built up, and at times, I even found myself taking it out on my family.

What Do I Really Want?

During that time, I started exploring self-help books, spiritual teachings, workshops, and online content. But it was still just a hobby. I didn’t imagine it could become a profession, let alone my life’s work.

Still, a quiet voice within kept asking:
“What do I really want to do with my life?”

That question, lingering since my twenties, was still unanswered—and I knew deep down that something was missing. Then came 2020—a year of global upheaval, and also a turning point for me personally. It was time to re-examine my life.

Every Experience Has Meaning

When I enrolled in a Spiritual Life Coach training program, my perspective began to shift. I started to see that every step I had taken—every detour, every seeming mismatch—had meaning. It all brought me to where I was meant to be.

I gave myself permission to listen to my soul and follow what truly sparked joy. Returning to my roots, I immersed myself in the world of coaching—a field that had fascinated me for years. The deeper I went, the more I realized: this is exactly the path my life has been guiding me toward.

When You Raise Your Energy, Everything Changes

Once I began spending more time doing what I loved, my stress began to fade. I felt more grounded, happier, and in alignment. And as my energy shifted, I noticed the impact it had on those around me—things started flowing more positively in my family and relationships.

Reclaiming My Center—Living as My Authentic Self

We live in a world flooded with information and endless choices. It’s easy to lose ourselves if we’re not grounded in who we really are. That’s why it’s so important to come back to this question:
“How do I truly want to live?”

To live authentically, I’ve learned that we must rediscover our own values, strengthen our self-image, and place our deepest desires at the center of how we live.

In 2024, I left my longtime IT job and finally gave myself the gift of travel—exploring different parts of the world while stepping fully into my new chapter as a Life Coach.
I also completed the Woman-Centered Coaching training program, and I continue to grow—both as a coach and as a human being.
